I've found "need" to be pretty much irrelevant when it comes to new gear ;^)

I may not have as much swing in this forum as the aforementioned posters to this thread, but all I can say is once you get 'em and set 'em up and play through 'em? The only use for the word "need" is that you'll find you'll "need" nothing else

I got to try it out at moderate volume yesterday. I still haven't had a chance to A/B it with RCFs.

It is going to do nicely. Plenty loud. Solid build.It sounds a little different than my RCF (patches will need some minor tweaks) but the system sounds clear and balanced.

The thing that puts it over the top for me is it gets harmonic feedback at a lower volume and a wider angle than RCFs. This is exactly what I have been looking for.

As has been noted the location of the inputs/outputs and handle is more friendly for a guitar player than the RCF as well.



I still need to try it at rehearsal but so far I am very happy with the CLRs
