Closest to original II HBE

I was working on a preset this evening that was based on the original HBE in the II. No matter which current incarnation I chose, I found them to all be darker and fuzzier. Any ideas? Or should I just change to maybe a Marshall.

The Original HBE Model that was in the II is in the III as far as I know.. The BE is still there..

Iii: 11.0

Rather different amp modeling (Quantum vs Ares) between those versions so can't really go apples to apples I'm afraid

There were a couple of versions iirc, w/ one being built by the power of the ickey-sticky hydroponic chronic. Did you check the amplifier guide by @yek ?
