Wish Clipboard history - acces to more copied blocks

Hi everybody

To save us time and allot of “copy a block than switching to another presets then paste one block”-action. It would be great if Axe Edit would get a clipboard history.

It’s just like the new Windows 10 Autumn update (1809) brings to us (or third party apps do).

That would mean we could go to a preset copy several blocks one after another and THEN switching ONE time to another preset where we open the clipboard history and where we can pick those blocks one after another to paste them into the grid.

I would love to see that in Axe Edit III.

totally ignorant of how axe-edit is designed but would it be possible to just leverage OS-level clipboard libs and allow users to just use whatever clipboard app they wanted to manage this? then you wouldn't have to write/maintain your own. afaik you could even treat blocks as a mime object.

This is the best way to implement it. Let the OS do it.
