I just tried a preset without amps and cabs, just some chorus and reverb. Super clean sound, and I seem to hear a lot more of the native guitar/pickup sound. Fascinating, like in the good old direct to desk days. Plenty of new spaces to experiment...

Who else is on that track?

I have at least one preset with parallel signal paths where one path has no amp/cab and is used for held chords. And there are a few where instead of amp and cab there is an acoustic IR. But I haven't yet tried one similar to your example; though I think I'll look into it soon.

You can use the Cab block with the "flat" IR and then use the Preamp section of the Cab block to get some old skool tape saturation like direct to the console.
