Chris Traynor Rig Rundown

^THIS.

What a freakin' cool dude. That's easily one of my favorite rig rundowns even though I don't follow his style of music.

Great interview! I like that he's not afraid to do things really differently. High action, thick picks, thick strings. That's why Helmet was so awesome (yes, i realize Chris didn't join until 1997). When everybody else was playing epic guitar solos and Nirvana was banging on 3 chords, Helmet tuned down and brought the thunder.

Saw Bush's concert on HDNet recently, and Chris really sounds great! I gotta say that Bush has grown on me over the years. Nowhere near my favorite list, but still a band I enjoy pulling up from time to time. They are clearly derivative of other bands (aren't most?), but they've got some decent songs. Some of the lyrics are a bit silly though. Trust me Gavin, Elvis is dead.

Very cool..... Funny....happened to notice yet another one of us who still has the sticker on the LCD window haha :razz
