Hi Fractal friends.
Being a musician in Brazil means to have a hard time getting gear for a reasonable price. I own a Mk II Axe Fx with a Matrix GT800 amp. I thought I would finally get the sounds I hear from other users, but M@ told me that my speakers were not full range. I have Celestion V30 and GT 75 and was not achieving a full range spectrum. I could not buy Qsc, not Accugroove, not CLR or any other gear to get the most out of Axe and Matrix. What to do then?
I made a box with 2 tweeters for high frequencies and 2 horns for the middle along with 2 crossovers (frequency dividers). All bought in Brazil. Cheap solution (+/- US 300.00) and now I have better middle frequency sounds and excelent highs.
Here are some pictures. Now my amp and speakers give me a FRFR solution. Thanks M@. Your information made me go after a solution. Cheers
