Changing impulse response formats

Does anyone know how to change a .ir to a .wav? And also a .syx to a .ir?

You could do this by using the Cablab plugin and an IR plugin in a sequencer.
Play the syx and record as wave.

I can't tell you how to do that, because it would be reverse engineering the ir and syx formats, which would be a violation of the licensing agreement for CabLab.

So if I figure out a way to do it, would I be violating a copy right agreement even if I am only using my resulting files for private use?
