I was just looking at horn drivers and noticed this new celestial design. 5" diaphragm, 2" outlet, 140db peak, 150w, 300Hz to 20,000khz. I really need to buy a two way crossover tunable plate amp. Here is a short video in the Axi2050 driver.

The characteristics are impressive - the pressure is 140db, a large frequency range but ... a lot of weight, dimensions, probably you need a large area of the horn, you still need a crossover, a second speaker for the low frequency range. I am not an expert, but I think at home this is a more difficult way to design a full-frequency cabinet than with Celestion F12-X200 more weight, size, cost.
