CAT 5 Issue.

I'm no newb, so one would think that i'd have no issue switching from MIDI to CAT 5 in a heart beat.

MIDI works perfectly fine, but when I plug in my CAT 5 cable that has always worked fine, I get a timeout message.

The MFC powers up fine (2.16)

Axe FX I/O

USB ADAPTER MODE is set to OFF
SEND REALTIME SYSEX is set to ALL

MFC

Set to EXPANSION
Set to AXE FX 2 MODE.

Any ideas?

Also tried resetting the MFC, no bueno.

Isnt your cat5 crossed cable ?

It's worked fine before now. It's a CAT 5 from a L**e 6 Spider amp.

Definitely try another cable just to be sure. Inspect the pins on the MFC and Axe.

All the pins are fine on both the Axe and the MFC. It's lighting up, but there's no connectivity.

Tried a different cable with broken lock clip thingys and it's working. Problem solved. thanks for the help guys, it was the cable after all.
