Case for MFC-101

Hi FOX,

I am looking for a case for my MFC-101 and one maybe 2 pedals. If you have already bought a case that works please share with me and the rest of us what did and what did not worked for you. Any tips in regards the min interior size: long/wide/deep would be very much appreciated. It looks to me like the min deep should be 4" (100cm). Did anyone tried to put the MFC-101 in a case that deep was less than 4" :?: For example 3.3" or 3.5" - most likely min would be 3.5".

Thanks to all for your support and response in this matter.

Check the 'show us your setup' thread, and also the 'Full Height' thread.
I went for a Diago Showman which fits the MFC + 2 pedals. There are plenty of other options & solutions people on here have come up with case-wise. :D

I bought a gator bag case(gk-2110 - like $30 or something) for my pod xt live about 3-4 years ago that I am going to use to carry my MFC and one Mission SP1 pedal. I have a thick piece of foam that I will put between the MFC and SP1 pedal to protect them from each other. Fits great. It's worked for me with my PodXTL, GCP/SP1, and now with the MFC/SP1.

It's a cheap, "no frills" option if you only have the MFC and one expression pedal

I do eventually want to get either a PT-2 or some other board to actually mount the MFC and SP1, plus add another expression pedal or 2 :)

I'd consider the DIY approach. I did and it works perfectly. Just measure the pedal board and whatever else you want to put in it and then head to salvation army or goodwill and buy an old hard shell suitcase that will work with your size then line it with foam. The suitcases with interior straps to keep clothes in place are the best because you can really lock everything down. You can even add compartments by screwing in dividers or other boxes. At the end of the day you've only spent $5-10 and now no one will know you are carrying around expensive gear :D

Here's one way. Thanks [attachment=0:7fsmmk6v]IMG00111-20101026-1317.jpg[/attachment:7fsmmk6v]

These are great solutions:

17" - fits just the MFC plus cables, etc. at the top: http://store.roadreadycases.com/dyn_pro ... 7&k=309929

24" - fits the MFC and one expression pedal (just a hair shy of fitting two): http://store.roadreadycases.com/dyn_pro ... 4&k=309929

32" - fits the MFC, two expression pedals, and room to spare: http://store.roadreadycases.com/dyn_pro ... 2&k=309929

Unlike the pedaltrains, there is no problem fitting under the lid with the Road Readys because you can remove the horizontal strips, making the mounting surface lower for the MFC. This is great because you can still boost up your expression pedals if you want. Also, it is the only readily available pedal board which is built in to an ATA case (just remove the lid).
