Carvin V3 212 & MFC101 mkI - need help!

To shorten the story, I can't set IA switch #16 to ON/OFF boost on V3. Any ideas?
I know that on V3 head midi command for this is #CC84, but somehow I cannot manage it...
Could it be a midi cable?
 
Well... I tried to do it, but it didn't work... Change channel with preset IA, ok, but send CC to turn something on/off, not! I'll keep trying. If I get some, I'll let you know!
 
I think I figured out what's going on! Is your V3 one of the first series? I bought mine in 2007 (no color led or reverb). I found the original manual and it didn't say anything about #CC, just how to save presets. I thing that only the new versions (the ones with color leds inside and reverb) are able to receive #CC command.

Which model is yours? with or without led/reverb?

There are 2 models of V3.
