Can't get Axe-FX sounds to play out of my new XPS computer

I had and HP that I upgraded. I was able to play guitar and mix it with sounds from the computer, e.g., MP-3, so I know the Axe-Fx II has been configured properly once.
I bought a new Dell XPS and loaded all of the Fractal software. I can change programs on my Axe Fx from my computer so I think I've verified connectivity.
I've also verified connectivity in that I can see the Axe Fx as an input and output device.
When I have the sound input to "Line" (M-Audio Micro or Axe Fx) I can see the response to my strumming on the level meter, yet I can't get it to be audible in the mix.
I verified the line setting was set to 100%.

Any help greatly appreciated!!!

Make sure your audio input device is set correctly in both your sound settings/options and in your DAW
