If it's possible, create a few drive blocks out of select amp blocks (preamp only of course) that exist already in the Axe FX. For example, create a PVH 6505 Drive, maybe a Recto Drive. I'm not asking for a ton of them, but maybe a few drive tones that aren't well represented by existing drive blocks. For example, Marshally tones are well represented already.
Admittedly I'm stuck on the 5150/6505 lately. It's such an iconic metal amp. There's something that distinguishes its tone from others'. It kind of sounds to me like sandpaper being used in a metal box, but in an amazing way. I'm just not sure how to describe its characteristic sound. I wish there was a drive block that captured that sound. And it's entirely possible that there's a way to tweak an existing block to achieve those tones, but I haven't quite found it yet.
