Can the axefx / ax8 get this sound? (Fulltone TTE content)

This is a demo I did with the fulltone TTE a while back. I'd love to be able to get this sound on the axe or ax8

I've tried the mono tape echo but can't quite get there and no, I bought another kemper but after a couple weeks sold it.
 
What are you aiming for? Darker tone, progressively less hifi, more warble?

@Admin M@ posted some vintage delay presets a time ago. I have to look those up.
 
i like the chorusy warble of the tape delays. The stymon came close. I'd like to get close to the strymon at the very least. I wonder if anyone has a tape delay preset that could get me in the ballpark?

Here are a couple of presets to experiment with.

The cab block at the end of all presets links to an user cab, you have to select your own.

And in the ECHO TAPE preset there's a 2nd Cab block, pointing to user cab 3. You have to use the enclosed IR (Santiago's Echoplex) in the block. Use a pedal (External 1) to adjust the feedback.

if you're after more "chorusy warble" did you try increasing the depth of the lfo's in the mod page of the delay?
 
here try this. play around with the parameters. try the low and high cut to shape the tone of the delay repeats in conjunction with the Q
play around with the mod depth and rates to control the wow and flutter
increase diffusion to soften the repeats as they decay
it's so configurable, literally 10 minutes playing around with it and you'll get exactly what you want (if you can be bothered to do that)
