Can someone un fuck my preset? V2.0 QUANTUM FUCKUP

Hey guys,

First shot at making a heavy tone with Quantum. I never thought my heavy tones were super great, but im getting some weird noise in this one with quantum. I almost know for a fact that it's me rather than the firmware, but can someone please point me in the right direction? Preset included.

My guitar is a cheap agile 7 string with BKP's.

It sounds like a input/noise gate setting issue to me. Perhaps go to the input gate and check your settings in there. I'm not in the studio at the moment so I can't load your preset.

HOLY SHIT... WTF is spot on right! The feedback was so piercing I saw fucking stars!

I had to reset the cab block for starters to make it even tolerable....

Yes. Kill it with fire. ;)

Kidding aside. Cliff had some good advice for where to start. Oddly enough, despite the many many options on the axe, simple patches = amazing with the last few firmwares. Also gain control is important especially when balancing two high gain amps.

You guys all rock!! Thanks a ton Cliff. Imagine a company where you have a problem and the freakin' owner sits down and fixes it for you...jeez man you're insane.

Like I mentioned, I'm pretty new at trying to nail these high gain patches. I think my thought process was that the boost would tighten it up rather than really add a ton of gain, but shit now that I realize how fucked up my gain staging was I feel like an idiot. Let me throw these suggestions in tomorrow and see where we go.

To summarize, I was going for a pretty mid bright, tight crunch.

EDIT: let me clarify some above stuff, oops. So V2.0 was referring to a previous "can someone unfuck my preset" post. So, this would be my "can someone unfuck my preset post 2.0: Quantum Edition" sorry for the lack of punctuation.

Input level is fine, barely tickling the red, but will try all those other suggestions tomorrow.

Almost there.. sounds a ton better but still getting some weird thing when I choke the notes out. New patch for the interested:
