How to perform the system clean that people are performing prior to installing FW10?

I'm having a few noise issues, tried reset system params etc, so I thought it might be worthwhile to wipe the Axe and reinstall FW10.

I couldn't DL the link for some reason. Can I perform the wipe with Fractal Bot?

Download the file mentioned in the thread by rightclicking the file and select Save to or Save as.

Send the file to the Axe using MIDI-OX or Sysex Librarian.

Note that you'll lose all gobal block data, user cabs and global and I/O settings.

Never mind, I finally figured out what was making my high gain patches buzz. It was the wall socket that my printer was plugged into. I thought it was magnetic interference from my monitors, but it only came from the right side. I turned off the plug and all my patches sound pristine again. I just moved house, so maybe the wiring isn't great in this place.

Who knew? *D'oh*
