I just want to use stompboxes with FX8 like guitar synth, rare overdrive pedals and evelope filer.
For example,
Guitar-evelope filter-guitar synth-overdrive-FX8-amp (I don't use amp gain)
Is this possible?
No damages in FX8 or amps?
thanx.

I can't see any reason not to do that. Just don't overload the input level of the FX8.

This is how I use the FX8 and it's great! There's a 6dB pad in the FX8 input stage to give you some headroom for ODs etc., just don't hit the front too hard with your FX chain and you're golden.

Absolutely. I use the FX8 this way. If you want to get creative with MIDI control for the outboard pedals, do what I did and add an RJM Mini Effect Gizmo into the mix. The pedals sit in the RJM's true bypass loops. The FX8 controls the RJM via MIDI, so it puts the pedal of my choosing into the signal chain when I change presets or scenes, all with no additional tap-dancing. Works great.
