Can anyone suggest good duets cover songs (male & female singers)?

Joined a new band that has a male and a female singer, and I'm looking for good song suggestions (covers), something that rocks out and gets the audience moving...

Anyone care to share their suggestions?

Depends on your style. Bring Me to Life by Evanescence is mostly female, but has a male part in the chorus and bridge. Plenty of rock there. "Broken" by Seether, but also featuring Amy Lee in the most popular version, is also a good one. Not so much of a rocker though.

"Take Me Home Tonight" if you're into the 80s thing. :)

Don't know what exact genre your looking for, but here it goes... don't shoot me :D "Im fresh out at the moment... but lord help us is if anyone (god forbid) suggests anything with Meat Loaf"... Oh... looks like I'm dead in the water already...

Elton John & Kiki Dee: Don't go breaking my heart
Ozzy and Lita Ford: If I close my Eyes
Bryan Adams w/ Tina Turner - "It's Only Love"
James Taylor/Carly Simon: Mockingbird
Olivia Newton John/John Travolta- "Your the One I want."
Robin Zander and Ann Wilson: Surrender
Meat Loaf/Ellen Foley: Paradise by the Dashboard Light

Meat Loaf/Ellen Foley: Paradise by the Dashboard Light

GAAHH!! ;)

big ++++ on the Ozzy/Lita Ford song though

How about
Easy Lover - Phil Collins/Philip Bailey... yea yea, not exactly male/female, but Bailey is kinda high pitch and its a good song
Aint no mountain high - Marvin Gaye/Tammi Terrell

More (various styles):

Stop Draggin' my heart around (Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks)
The Look (Roxette)
U Got the Look (Prince & Sheena Easton)
When the Stars go Blue (Bono and the Coors)
Anything by Lacuna Coil, but that's really heavy and obscure to most people.
Close My Eyes forever (Ozzy and Lita Ford)
Rebirthing (among many others) by Skillet (Semi-mainstream Christian rock)
Various Arcade Fire songs -- most are mostly male, but some have the ladies more prominent
Work by Jimmy Eat World (more of a prominent female backing than a duet though. Liz Phair!!)
Somebody that I used to know by Gotye...but I think that one's run its course for now. And not really rock.
Steal My Sunshine by Len
Shiny Happy People (R.E.M. w/ladies from B-52s)
Other stuff from the B-52s, for that matter.
I think most Sonic Youth songs were either mainly Kim or mainly Thurston, but there might be some that qualify as duets.

Edit for MORE:
Don't you want me baby (Human League...new wave!)
What have I done to Deserve this...Pet Shop Boys with Dusty Springfield...but it sounds pretty much like two female parts in some parts. :)
Well, did you evah (Iggy Pop and Debbie Harry)
This Mess We're in (PJ Harvey and Thom Yorke, but maybe too out there)
Roadside by Rise Against -- amazing song. Doesn't rock out, won't get them moving, but it's awesome.
Go Your Own Way (Fleetwood Mac...more of a Lindsay song, but Stevie's in there prominently on the chorus)
Falling Slowly (from Once -- Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova)
She has a girlfriend now (Reel Big Fish)
Make You Smile - +44
Candy - Iggy Pop and Kate Pierson ... those B-52 girls got around in the early 90s. :)
Southside - Gwen Stefani and Moby
White Balloons - Sick Puppies
Wild Night - John Mellencamp and Me'Shell Ndegeocello

For some reason, 80s country is coming to mind....

Meet me in Montana - Dan Seals and Marie Osmond

Just You and I - Eddie Rabbit and Crystal Gayle

Islands in the Stream - Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton (I don't like this song, but it was big...)

OH. Then there's the Paul McCartney stuff in the early 80s:

Say Say Say - with Michael Jackson

Ebony and Ivory - with Stevie Wonder
