Cabling Question - Out of Axe II output into Matrix Input

Hey guys-

I'm ordering cables for my NL212 when it arrives, and I grabbed two speakon cables to go out of the matrix into the NL212.

What do I need to go from Axe's output 2 into the matrix's in? I mean what kind of cables are the best solution? 2x 1/4 TRS to XLR? Or TS to TS? Or TRS to TS? Read some posts about getting popping when using the unit like this...wasn't sure what to go with.
 
1/4 TS cables are all that is necessary from Axe output 1 or output 2 to Matrix inputs. 2 TS cables if running stereo. Not TRS cables.
