    Hi all,

Trying to convert some Ownhammer wavs and it seems like the Cab-Lab 3 Standalone just ignores files like this for example: "OH 212 3QTR BLU 421-EDGE.wav".

I'm wondering if any one is aware of any limitations of this software.

    Thanks

Thanks. Are you aware of any plans to fix that in the software? it seems like the dash is causing issues while the names like "OH 212 3QTR C90+LYN.wav" is fine

Also i think it has to do with the length of the name since "OH 212 3QTR BLU 57 00.wav" is no good while this "3QTR BLU 57 00.wav" is fine. Weird

Yea, there's a limit on characters in the file name. :) IIRC it's limited to what the Axe-Fx II can display? Maybe?

Windows has a limit on overall path length of a file. If the total path name exceeds that limit, things won’t work right.

I run into this once in a while with IR collections, which sometimes have their own deep tree structure with long folder names concatenated together, inside my own convoluted folder structure.

260 characters is the path length limit for Windows and oh boy have I not had to think about that in a loooooong time. :D

(@Rex we're just going to follow each other from thread to thread tonight, eh? :) )

Can I hate you? Just for tonight? :)

Not for long. I just came home from a trip to visit Mom before she moves out of state (which is a neat trick for a 98-year-old). Got an early day tomorrow. I might come back and hound you after my shower. Otherwise, I'm not long for this world.
