Cab Banks

I have been working on edit and build with the FM3 and as an AX8 owner, I have done this many times. But I cannot find any cabs listed in the cab bank. What am I doing wrong?

There should be several Banks? 'Factory 1' and 'Factory 2', 'User 1' and 'User 2' (which will be blank), 'Legacy', and 'Scratchpad'.

Are you working in the cab block?

In the middle of the cab selector prompt there is section called Banks is that set to <All Banks>?

The User Banks are the only one that shows up and as you wrote, are all empty.

That's to be expected. They are for you to import your own IRs.

There are well over 2000 Factory and Legacy IRs to explore.

I clicked on the cab bank and select factory 1 or factory 2 banks but only the user banks show and it is empty.

I would suggest contacting support. I recall a handful of Axe Fx III users who got units with no factory cabs loaded.

Support can help load them remotely if that is the case.

Try using the left arrow on your keyboard to scroll left in the cab picker window. When I first opened the cab picker, it looked the same way.

The window below the picker button says "empty" even in the preset rigs.

the good news is that it is an easy fix
someone from Fractal can call and walk you through installing them
