bx_shredspread - interesting plugin for all your 'wall of sound ' needs

I have all of their plug-ins, and I have to say the mastering plug ins with the ability to process
the mid and side signal separately are really great, if used properly like a new dimension...
the above mentioned shredspread was also included in a bundle, but after trying never I used....

There is also a way without additional plug-ins to make a "wall of sounds":
let's say 2 e-guitar signals, one left the other right.
Pan one around 25-75% left and the other the same amount to the right.
After make 2 effect channels in your DAW, put in there what you want
a reverb or delay and pan these effect channels just the oposite as the
original channel. => pan the effect channel of the original left panned guitar
to the right and vice versa for the other.

Of course it comes more complicated with doubled guitars (important: take care
of the phase alignement).

Usually I dont put too much reverb or delay to the e-guitars, and mostly routing
all effect channels to a separate group channel "effects" and there of course
is also inserted a compressor.

And for best results, never use the full left or full right setting for the way above explained.

Best regards
Martin
