buzzing

I got an ultra and when i plug into my amp w/ the ultra it buzzes but when i plug straight into the amp w/ just my guitar it doesn't buzz... what's up w/ that

Did you try flipping the Ground Lift switch?

yeah that ground switch didn't do anything, but i only had one cable from the axe going to the efx return on the amp and didn't realize i needed two cables to fix the buzz and complete the loop. that being said there is a less significant buzz still happening so hopefully that will be taken care of when i get my furman pl plus power conditioner in the mail!

Ground lift switch only works on XLR.
