Buying preset packs running newer firmware

I’m interested in purchasing presets from different users. Austin Buddy has updated his but many companies haven’t. What’s your experience with this? I’m interested in buying some that are on firmware 5. Would they sound just as good on 11.01?

Mokes presets sound great. If you don't want to risk it, buy one and I'll bet you'll buy more.

I completely missed the AB Naked Amps update. Last I remember he sent out a email notifying that he would be updating the tone pack. Looks like it's got a new name... 1400+ now instead of the 1000+ . I remember seeing something about update but I must have read it all too fast looking for 1000+ and seeing 1400+. He sent a follow up email stating the update was available?

Yes, it’s available and awesome! I just bought the clean pack from Fremen. Incredible to say the least!

I hear a lot of great things about 3rd party presets. But they don't usually work for me.
A lot to do with your setup. Some 3rd party presets sound great and others awful without major tweaking.
But in all fairness I'm not running a normal rig. So I find working with the factory presets or starting from scratch works better for me.

I wouldn't buy presets created on a much older firmware.
