Hi guys,
In the next few weeks I will be making the jump for a new imac, an upgrade to replace my current model which has served me extremely well for the last 10 years!
The setup comes with a 1TB hard-drive as standard which is fine but I intend to use an external SSD to run Logic Pro X, samplers and plugins etc.
My questions is how am I best setting this up - do I need to clone the drive as soon as I have everything I want on the mac or is there some other way of doing it?
Just to be clear, I'm not that bothered about having the SSD as the boot drive as load up times of the main OS are not a concern to me - my concern is having my DAW and all aspects within it running smoothly and consistently.
I would be very grateful for any input on this please guys?
