I've had many floor boards with these types of buttons. The most recent was a Digitech 1101 Foot Controller, which I still use.
When I hit a button on the AX8, it seems like it takes a moment to have the patch actually kick in. I can get used to that, but it's not instant and that should happen considering the price of this device.
I must have hit buttons multiple times to get a solo boost or a patch to change during a recent gig...it was a hassle.
From habit, I have hit a button and stayed on it while soloing and the AX8 won't change because you have to "tap" the button each time. Hanging on the button I believe activates the X or Y feature correct?
Is there any way to get the buttons to be instant changes or anything close to the way I prefer the foot controllers to work?
