Also noticed this when poking around installing the v12 AB presets:

On my #2 FC6, I have Per Preset #23 assigned to the top left switch in View 1, and Per Preset #24 in the same place on View 2, but in both, it shows on all 3 top row LCDs if there is no Per Preset Override assigned. Later test showed it happened also on <EMPTY> presets also.

The remaining switches are empty....

looks like your "Mini-Display Label" option is set to blank?

Possibly, will check. What confuses me a bit is the label PerPrst#23 being duplicated onto displays that should be empty. All works as expected when the PPOs load, but this caught my eye as being possibly related to the buttons issue on Peter Northcote's thread....

It is Layout #3. If those are in the global backup data, then it is in the file up there ^^^^....

it was a recent update to have a blank PP switch say "PP switch." i believe you choose what the label is, but i could be wrong.

More weirdness: when I add a second Per-Preset switch (#22) in the top middle spot, it shows up, but the top right switches from PP#23 to PP#22 to match the switch to its right despite the top right switch being unassigned....

If I put PP#21 on the top right switch, it replaces the erroneous label for the one to the left with the proper (PP#21) label:

This is repeatable, too. I can remove the switch #21 and the label goes back to #22, instead of going blank. If I leave #21 and #23, and remove #22 from the middle switch, I get #23, #23, and #21. It looks like the software is applying the label it has to blank, empty switches that follow it in the switch layout. Probably a variable/memory location that's not getting properly cleared between switches in that routine. I recognize this because I have done the same silly thing inadvertently in stuff that I've programmed....

Neither Momentary or Toggle is working in this situation.
Momentary is not going to work since you have it set to execute on switch-up. Your hold time is also set to 1 second (which I'm sure you know). Are you sure you're holding it down long enough? The configuration in your initial post has it set as momentary, if I change it to toggle, it works as it should.

This was a bug and didn't effect switch functionality, just the display. It will be fixed in the next Axe-Fx III release. Good find, thanks!

There it is. Forgot about the momentary/switch-up interaction. Thanks, switched to toggle, counted the one-thousand-one before lifting, all works.

D'oh!

Cool, glad to help.
