Budget footswitch?

I am working on writing some songs, and just need a simple way to increment my presets... to go from preset 1 to preset 2, to 3, etc...I already have the MFC, but dont want to lug it around. What is small and super cheap?

Tech 21 Midi mouse perhaps, not sure what your super cheap level is at

Can you use a latching footswitch into the pedal input on the back?

Yes, you can use a footswitch into the pedal input, for AXE FX II XL there are even to pedal inputs - in case you'd want to decrease the number of your presets with a footswitch, too...
Please remember to do the settings for the pedal input(s) in the menu accordingly.
