Brian Setzer

I still play a piece of his, from his hot licks video from the '80's. He's a great representative of a style long gone by. Listen to the first two Gene Vincent albums. You'll see his style all over those two albums.

Great live too. Saw a couple of his big band shows that just blew me away.

His version of Sleepwalk is one of my all time favorite instrumentals.

I've seen the full big band twice - absolutely fantastic live show. I especially love how effortless he makes it look while he's playing.
No doubt, just saw him for the first time this Christmas. I don't think he ever even looked down at his guitar. Effortless playing and a masterful showman.

Saw the Cats on their first tour in a small venue. Unbelievable band, beyond unbelievable guitarist/frontman. Made me a fan for life.

One of my first bands used to play a bunch of Stray Cats tunes. Great stuff!! (I still can't really do them justice all these years later...)

Always always always enjoyed his playing and the The Stray Cats!!
I remember hearing them for the first time when I was a kid from a friends older brother,(who played 'em constantly)full on Punk with a 3ft Mohawk, and thinking whoaaaaa this is awesome!
