One of my favorite guitar tones I've ever heard is Brian May's from Queen's 1986 Wembley Stadium shows. Here is my best attempt at recreating it. I'm so grateful that my Axe-FX can get me so close to sounds like this. I certainly could never afford 3 vintage Vox AC30s plus effects just to get one sound.
There are a couple examples of rhytm parts at the beginning followed by some of the Brighton Rock solo sound-on-sound delay stuff.
I don't own a Red Special clone, and those tri-sonics and special wiring are really important to Brian's sound, but a Strat is as close as I can get for now. Also I don't play a ton of Queen so apologies in advance for some sloppy moments.
