Brand new Axe II suffers from screen flickering

Maybe Cliff can write an algorythm that converts the flicker rate, such that it is undetectable to the human eye.
 
I've noticed a good bit of screen flicker too. Always connected to a PC via USB and I believe almost always when using Axe-Edit. I've actually had the AxeII lock up quite a bit when switching presets via Axe-Edit. None of the screen flickering has impacted my sound, except when the AxeII froze up and required a power cycle to reset.

If Cliff says that this is "normal" behavior, then I'm good with that, since he designed the system and knows what it's operating parameters are.

I would be curious to know if anyone else has had success with re-seating the ribbon cable, just to eliminate another possible cause of screen flicker that's not related to the normal USB function.
