Not a Bug Blank Preset Display

Not hooked up to computer nor FM3 Edit

Switch displays suddenly go blank. The Main Screen Display is fine.

Is consistent whether I change presets or rebooting.

Followed a couple reset procedures. In the morning will update.

Just wondering if anyone experienced the same? .....and would suddenly cause this?

They went blank and stayed that way. Even in reboots.

Forgot to mention it disabled both Exp pedals.

I performed a system reset. And the displays came back (not blank).

Tones were off and Exp pedals still disabled.

I reinstalled the firmware and my backup systems+gb+fc

And all good!! Back to normal!

Thank goodness!

Couple questions when you have a chance, please:
  1. This happened during runtime, correct?
  2. When you rebooted did the Axe-Fx III come up on preset 000?
  3. Are you using any global blocks, global eq, etc?

What is Runtime?

It came up on preset 000 after I rebooted after performing a reset.

Not using global blocks at all…nor global EQ …etc

Playing it one night Axe to monitor (no computer hookup)...normal ....then I shut it off ......then the next time turned on ....it was messed up...for no reason I could think of.

Hope this helps
