AFIII BKP Polymath & Aftermath demo recorded with Axe Fx 3

man how do you find the aftermaths ? i have chosen after math 7's for my skervesen guitar (which i am yet to receive) to play really low tuned stuff, in your demo they do sound more chuggy and i was able to pick them accurately, but whats your take on these pickups?

I think Aftermaths are great pickups! What makes them standing out is a high output and quite a lot of low end, which is something to keep in mind while playing through amps like dual recto. I haven't played aftermaths on 7 string guitar but I'm pretty sure they will sound great!

thanks! do they have the clarity required for the low tunings?

I usually play in Drop C and Aftermaths always sounded great. Haven't tried them on 7 strings but according to BKP website they are suitable for heavily detuned and extended range guitars

Could you tell me a little more about the Polymaths? They sound a bit similar to the Juggernauts, but seem to have more high end and less low-mid bump.

I think that I prefer the Aftermaths.
I've never tried BKP, but I've always wanted to try a set of Black Hawks.

It's a ~medium output pickup (comparing to other BKPs I've tried), they have decent amount of mids and not a lot of lows, they sit very well in the mix because of that. I have Juggernauts in my Aristides and they definitely have stronger output signal
