Best U2 presets for AX8

My band is going to add a few U2 songs. I don’t mind paying for presets and have been looking around. Edo sounds good but I was just wondering which patches transfer the best to the platform.I run FRFR.

Anything in the Axechange? No presets to offer but a few simple ideas I stick to with U2 presets is using the AC30 obviously or the matchless DC30. I always put the delays (2290 or deluxe memory mind guy) in front of the amp block. I use the Sdd or shimmer drive types as well. As for IR's I always use the Justin York AC30 collection from ownhammer but their are some good stock ones that work just as good. Good luck!

Check out @Moke Moke's Custom Presets. Just Google that and you will find him. He has some awesome presets and a few song specific for U2!

Here's a clip I did a few versions back on an Axe-Fx II.

If you follow the thread. you'll find lots of information about the preset. The preset is based on Edo's comments at the time. Here's the preset, which I believe you can convert with Fractool;

The preset will work for any of the classics, I Still Streets, Bad, etc., just change the delay tempo, according to the settings in EWB's website ;

BTW, @edo's commercial AX8 U2 presets, are designed to work straight to P.A., with a real AC30 and with headphones. I use the Axe-Fx versions and they all sound great, as is, with my headphones and my AC30.

Lots of good U2 presets can be found in the Axe FX II threads... Just convert them with the fractool. I was interested in buying Edo's presets, but at the time he didn't make them for the AX8

Not a fan of Moke's take on U2 tones. There's something wrong about them, but I'm not sure what it is. Maybe too much treble, not enough mids, the cleans are definitely not crunchy enough. Also, he puts a chorus block in the chain... not a good plan for getting The Edge's tone.
