Hi everyone,
What’s the best cabs to buy ?
For me the best cab changes a lot the sound and are the key to sucess your sound.
Anyone have experienced this?
I play a lot of rock, pop music and clean stuff, sometimes with some band covers and must be versatile...
Accept suggestions.
Cheers to everyone.

I´ve bought a lot of different Cabs from 3rd party - I only use IR´s from Valhall and CabIR - a lot of sweet spot IR´s (I prefer Single IR´s), a great illustration and guide is also included at CabIR. And both - they are the only ones? - supply the cab resonance frequency.

For cleansounds I highly recommend the VH-VX 1962 (Vox) from Valhall, also for Queensounds.

Hi thanks for the shoutout guys. :) If you really want a bunch of amazing versatility then I highly recommend the Greatest Hits Cab Pack. Everyone loves that pack and it's got 22 different cabinets in one pack. It covers all genres. Legends is also really good especially if you're into rock music. If you're a progressive metal guy then the Misha Mansoor pack has the exact IR's used by Periphery on their albums.

I should have mentioned the Greatest Hits, too. ;)

I think the cab are the most important in axe fx to take a good sound... 4 sure the rest it’s important to but when I changes the preset to the other good cab the difference are huge... I will buy one to make my sound better... Once more thanks to write and explain about IR...Greetings from Portugal

Yes the cab section is most of your sound. :)

If you buy the Fremen preset pack(s) you get a lot of good custom IRs along with the presets, a few of which are licensed from Valhallir.

Couple of really good free ones (I LOVE the Vox one):

get the free IR pack from Line 6, too. There's some good ones in there.

I personally bought the Valhallir Wolverine IR pack and think it's great. I've heard good things about the Ownhammer VC30 6-pack and would probably buy that if I didn't already have so many good ones. Between the free ones I've found, Fremen, Moke, and the Valhallir, I don't have any more room in my user presets! One nice thing about Ownhammer is they give you a 'Summary' folder with a handful of what they consider to be the most balanced IRs from the set, so you don't have to audition they thousands of other ones yourself if you don't want.
