Hello everyone,,
I'm thinking this weekend's project may be to tonematch my Lynx 50 head w/ my Badcat v30 4x12.
I'm curious what amp I should use to base the tone match upon?
They Lynx is a marshall'esqe EL34 amp, though it has a lot more girth and gain than your average plexi. And less treble than a JCM800.
Also, I can close mic it with an sm57 or set my large diaphram condenser back a few feet (my usual recording setup).
Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome. I will post it on axe-change when I get it right..
