Yes, i even don't know why FractalBot doesn't send an empty preset before backing up then ask for a recall... Automatic speedup

When discussing this, one advantage to not changing to an empty preset or emptying the current preset was you wouldn’t be able to play while you back up. I don’t personally do that but maybe some do? Change is hard.

This is critical, can’t be burning a single ground during the grind, but we still need a fine grind.

Oh no. The speed difference had been even way greater with the earlier generations with their internal backup area. The intenal backup needed some seconds then.

For years have used this method to load new firmware.

I wonder if this would work on AX8 as well. There, backup times are often ~30 minutes. If this could be reduced to ~10 minutes, then OH MY

This is my third or fourth AxeFx - didn't know about the empty preset speed-up. Learn something every day with these babies......
