AxView is a simple live performance app for Mac/Windows compatible with the AX8 and Axe FX II Running Quantum 6 and later, it's main purpose is to display the contents of your preset without causing any audio drops.

AxView also includes a Graphical Amp and Drives User Interface giving you the feel of the original Amp/Drive

AxView is not an official Fractal App, visit the link below for more details and to download it.

Downloaded and used it for the first time. Nice job!

Wow this looks great! I wish Axe-Edit looked like this. I really like how you added the real names of the amps and give the option to see the real amp controls or all the controls. I can't imagine how much time you must have put into this. Your website looks great too.

OMG I've just realized that with your awesome tool we can control scenes with any external controller plugged to the computer. I works perfectly for me ! WOW, it's a killer feature !

Please add a "full" full screen feature ! :)

WOW, Great job!

I'm curious about the external controller.
Is it possible to use some kind of USB controller board, fex https://www.thomann.de/se/akai_lpd_8.htm ?
I'm looking for a small controller to change scenes/presets, and if it's possible to use an standard USB to use @ home it would be freaking sweat =)

yes thats exactly what ext controllers are for, just select the io of the controller on the connection screen and then assign them on the ext controllers window

Wonderful and I just noticed you can name the scenes

I just have two more question if that's ok =)

1. Is there any audio gaps when switching scenes with an external USB-controller and AxFxView compared to regular midi-controller like mfc101?
2. Do you have any recommendation on USB midi-controller. I have found this one: http://iconproaudio.com/product/g-board which should do the work I hope.

AxFxView doesn't cause any audio gaps nor would it if you use an external controller. That controller looks like it would work, you can use the learn function AxFxView just make sure you connect it's midi port on the settings window

Interesting job,
Therefore, simplify you can ;)

I have the LPD8 and it has knobs... Unfortunately AxeLive currently doesn't allow mapping of the MIDI functions to anything but a few things... It would be really nice if the CCs could be mapped to Gain, Bass, etc. In fact I can't get any of the CC mappings on the LPD8 to work.. for anything... MIDI PC messages work so it is still somewhat useful, though. Hopefully the CC control can be generalized to some more stuff over time.

This is a really neat tool. Very well done.
