Cool! So it will still work as the fx loop principal right? That'a basically the get on the waitlist for me..FX Loop has been replaced by Input and Output blocks making it much better than the FX Loop.

That audio sample was contrived to show that a gap can be noticeable. It was not produced with an actual III.Except it’s not seamless. There’s a ~40 ms gap.
Here, somebody recorded gaps of different lengths: https://forum.fractalaudio.com/threads/presenting-the-axe-fx-iii.134717/page-24#post-1593638
You decide whether it’s bothersome or not. To me, it sounds almost as annoying as it does on the II.
Word clock?
Audio clips from the beta testers. That's what's missing!
And then run SETI searches w/ what's left from that...Can you mine bitcoin in the background with leftover CPU?
Actually Cooper Carter's video was all Axe-Fx III:

LOL. I Just posted this list on the II discussion board. Head over there! They are at bargaining already! It's the 5 stages of grief and loss. 1. Denial and isolation; 2. Anger; 3. Bargaining; 4. Depression; 5. Acceptance. Some are still in denial, like me, others are already at anger.
You should step away for a while. What does it matter? A gap is a gap is a gap. Granted, it's not 38 ms but 35 officially. But how can a gap sound?
Umm I took a look at the file... it's 38 ms of silence on the second sample. Not a 17.5 ms fade out + 17.5 ms fade in as I understand the Axe-Fx 3 will do.What does it matter? A gap is a gap is a gap. Granted, it's not 38 ms but 35 officially. But how can a gap sound?
There appeared to be two send and two return blocks? There are also SEND and RETURN blocks indicated on the III web page. Looks to be pretty flexible.

I haven’t done much preset switching at this point while playing. I’ll get back to you.Hey Ian,
Speaking of audio gaps, does the the "fade out", and "fade in", happen only locally in the block, or is it happening at the main output? For example, if switching to a new scene only includes a new amp and cab channel, will reverb and/or delay trails be also interrupted? Which would definitely bring more attention to the audio gap.
