    Saw this article on Reverb about Robert Fripp's rig. Had a cool picture of his laptop with Axe Edit going.

    I just think it's cool that he's using the same software etc that I am.

    interesting. the patch is called "ipad" (and has no amp blocks), which is running some mellotron software

    He's using it for his amp sounds as well, Hiwatt model with a fuzz face pedal, according to a more in-depth rig rundown I saw. Apparently he uses the irig midi with a keyboard controller to contol a mellotron emulator on his ipad, which is routed through the axe...

    Looks like I see a couple Eventide H8000's in the pic.. great units

    That's a complicated rig. I am glad I am not his roadie.

    I wonder if he is using the Axe also for his soundscape or delay stuff. It might be abundant if you already have those Eventide H8000's.
