I don't get it. Why are so many of the current Axe-FX owners against an Axe-PC/Axe-Mac? Are they afraid that their product will be less worth?

I'm not against it. Heck, I'd very much welcome it, ASSUMING Cliff & Co don't end up getting ripped off. Hardware based Axe-FX is FAR, FAR less likely to be cracked or reverse engineered. Cliff is a very scarce resource -- there's only one of him on this planet, and I would like to see Axe-FX hardware V2 someday.
