Axe III as interface?

Presuming if I go direct out of the III into my monitors it's gonna sound better than going through my Focusrite Scarlett 2i4, right? I guess I could route my computer audio back through it too...

Anybody doing this?
 
I run mine via my Focusrite 2i4 - it works well for me and the direct monitor function makes it easy to blend and set levels, etc. Really just suggesting try both out and see what works for your workflow.
 
I do this with mine, direct through USB to my laptop and I hear everything trough the fractal in my studio monitors.

You need to remember to mute the track when tracking though, or you'll get a strange delay effect.
