Axe II presets into mono "real amp" setup

I run my normal Axe II rigs in stereo through a pair of CLRs. Ideally when using my "real amp" setup with the FX-8, I'd like to just use my existing efx but have them sum to mono. I'm hoping it's stupid simple and doesn't require programming.

1) Press the I/O button on the front panel
2) Page right once to the Audio tab
3) scroll down to you preferred output (1 or 2) and change it's output mode from stereo to L+R sum, if you have efx in your preset that does cancelation in that mode go with copy L->R instead for dual mono output

When you head back to the stereo CLR rig reverse the process.
