Boi howdy!
Im new here and recently bought my first Axe fx 2 xl+ which I'm running into a scarlet 2i4 via the two 1/4" line inputs.
I saw Misha Mansoor using this setup in his basic recording process video but I want to record guitar tracks in mono like he is. I already switched the output to L+R sum but Logic X makes these into stereo channels automatically. Am I only supposed to be using only one axe output for this? Or is there a routing step or something I'm missing?
Second question: Logic will sometimes ask if I want to use selected interface Scarlet 2i4 and sometimes it will ask if I want to use axe fx. But it never seems consistent. Is there a specific way that I should be recording like this?
