I went from an axe 2 (mark 1) to the axe 3 mark 2. Here I was, being content and organized. Now here comes the 3. I bought it for the extra preset space, room for more IRs and the power to put more blocks in one preset. I figured I’d just export my presets from the 2 and be done with it. But nooooooo. The 3 sounds so much better. So much more acoustic, dynamic and “alive”. It even takes a bit of getting used to I must admit. And the reverbs and delays are off the chart!! I try to make a choice to just pick 3or 4 good distorted sounds. An acdc live kinda sound, an eddie live sound, satch live and a jp sound. Every time I find something nice, I go to the next preset and think “ hmm, great too”. Grrr. I still have to think of a system which enables me to work more with scenes and channels and still be able to remember it later on.
Anyway, congrats on building a machine that is a great improvement on something that I thought could not be improved..
