Axe FX Ultra/Standard 4CM

I'm looking into picking up an Axe FX Ultra or Standard to use as an effects-only processor. I know the Axe FXII can run the 4 cable method in use with an amp, can the Ultra's and/or Standards do that as well?

And for what it's worth, I'm running 2 amps live simultaneously, so I guess that makes it the 7 cable method...

Yes, it can.

I have only done 4 cable and it worked with my Mesa RoadKing and an Ultra. Hum can be a problem so check here for insight on that.

Yeah, I've heard a lot of noise (no pun intended) on issues with hum on the 4cm
