Haven't seen an Ultra in awhile. It can definitely nail that tone. Mid gain stuff, not so much.

I saw Stryper a few years ago somewhere near the Bay area. I saw the Ultra in a rack that I think they used in their FOH stuff. It wasn't powered on and they didn't use it. I asked Michael about the Fractal. He just said he had one, but didn't really use it.

I guess he blew the dust off it and gave it a whirl.

I didn't think about that, but looking at it....you can see him play much easier that way.

Indeed! ............That would be a tough one.......no disrespect intended but I cant help but think what a great guy this drummer is....."brother....your drums are a half inch too long with the guitar cabs on the stage so we are going to have to rock you sideways tonight"...

Kelly Keagy of Night Ranger also sits sideways, but he's positioned all the way at stage left. His mic is by his left shoulder, so his face faces the audience when he sings. At a concert in '85 I was in the 5th row near stage left, and it was weird because it felt like he was looking at me whenever he sang lol.
