axe fx newbie does pink floyd time solo

Picked up Axe FX II off craigs for home recording / jamming this week. Not sure if I will give up the tube amp for gigs yet, but I have to say it is head and shoulders above Line 6 and/or the Eleven Rack.

Spent some time dialing in tones this weekend. Here is my take on Gilmour tone:

Great going and good for you for getting the axe! Id say to spend some time with and see how it works out for you. Ypu may well realize that its so much easier to set up and carry than an amp and that the sound quality is so close that you not miss your tube amps for a while ...
