Axe Fx is making selected track pan automatically in Logic 9.

When I select a track in Logic 9 the panning control begins to slowly move clockwise. If I select another track the first track stops panning, but the new selected track starts doing it.

I don't have any midi instruments hooked up. Only the Axe Fx II with FW 10. When I disconnected the Axe it stops. I've tested this on various projects with no automation. I've also created new empty projects and it still happens.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

I can tell you that in my experience with Logic 9, there are weird quirks and "illogical" things that this DAW does when you don't want it to

A bug in Logic.

Try turning SEND REALTIME SYSEX to NONE in the AxeFX's I/O->MIDI menu. That's the only thing that is transmitting MIDI data AFAIK.
