The differences between the Mk1 and Mk2 have been discussed at length. For most practical purposes, the two are I very much the same.

I mean if you can find one for a decent price. Most are selling over retail price and you don't have your warranty if you buy used. Id hang in there imo!

I once drove to Fractal from RI, and it was quite a pleasant little road trip. Got to meet Cliff, and stopped at the state liquor store on the way back, too.

Same here, my wife and I drove from New York to Fractal also. We made a weekend out of it... went to Boston also..
Met Cliff and he was showing me one of the 1st Axe FX Units he had just gotten back from Stryper... Super Cool..
Might have to make another trip.....

For those who is waiting for shipment: buy type A to type B USB cable in advance, it is not included, and you can't connect Axe FX to computer without it...

I also have a Mark IV. It's great in 4cm. Many different ways to use it!

Oooof I think it's very small. This last batch, they crushed through about a month or more? Thing you'll have to take into account....when did they announce the mkii? I bet there was a large uptake in waitlist requests that day and after. So that will increase the density
